A New Venture

I suppose every photographer looks for something to set them apart from the others.  Truth be told, I was inspired to try underwater photography after following (and admiring) a few underwater photography blogs and watching Jaws with my husband.  At first, I was a little apprehensive about this session. But then I realized, I live in Texas where it will be 100 degrees for the next 3 months and I will get to swim in someone else's pool...and get paid to do it.  I am absolutely thrilled at the final product.  If you are interested in an underwater session, call me.  This could be my new favorite summer activity.

A special thanks to my model, Annalyse, for doing flips, handstands, drinking out of a straw, and even wearing a Batman cape and mask, all for the sake of art.

After making these two sit in the middle of the street for a few pictures, stand and lay in bug infested grass, and endure absolutely intense heat, I feel justified after seeing these pictures.  Wasn't it worth it?!?!
